Frequently asked questions
Is there a free trial?+
Yes. Start a free 14-day trial with the full product, including every role and unlimited students. No card is needed, and you can use your real data from day one.
What happens when my trial ends?+
Your academy locks until you upgrade, and your data is kept safe. Message us, pay by bank transfer, and we reactivate your account on the plan you chose.
What happens when I reach Lite’s 50-student limit?+
You can move to Academy Plus at any time. Talk to our team and we’ll switch your account over, no data re-entry needed.
Can I switch plans later?+
Yes. Moving from Lite to Plus, or from Plus to Pro, is a straightforward upgrade on your existing account. Contact sales and we’ll take care of it.
Can I cancel anytime?+
You can cancel at the end of your current billing term. Fees already paid for a term that has started are non-refundable, in line with our Terms of Service.
How is billing handled?+
Billing is arranged directly with Two Bit Digital and settled by bank transfer to our Allied Bank account (the details are on this page), outside the product itself. Academy+ does not process payments or store card or bank details, for your subscription or for any fee a school collects from its own students.
Where is our data stored, and is it secure?+
Academy+ is hosted on Vercel and stores data with Supabase. Access is restricted by the roles your admin assigns. See our Privacy Policy for the full detail, including where data may be stored.
What is the Parent Portal?+
A Pro-only feature that lets a student’s guardians sign in and see read-only attendance, fee balance, and exam results for their child. No messaging, no payment collection. Your admin switches it on for each parent, who then signs in with their own email.
What does the Group Admin do?+
A Group Admin sees every branch and can switch between them, compare branches side by side, and transfer a student from one branch to another. Each branch’s own staff only see their branch.
Can I add more branches to Pro later?+
Yes. Pro includes 2 branches, and each additional branch is Rs 4,999 a month. Talk to sales to add one.
What if we need more than Pro offers?+
That’s what the Custom tier is for: larger networks, custom integrations, white-label, or on-premise needs. Reach out and we’ll scope it with you.
Is there a cap on teachers, staff, or classes?+
No. Every plan prices by functionality and scope (students for Lite, locations for Plus and Pro), never by how many staff accounts or classes you run.
